Novanix.com stole my website; starcraftgateway.com and I can't log on ftp. The owner of the domain hasn't been online for along time so I can't tell him to redirect it to the new url, scexperience.com. What should I do to stop Novanix?

If you could also answer this question please do. Novanix.com lies about his staff and he hosts more than one account on one account so he can save the money. His client list is fake. Not all of those clients are real. Is that illegal?

I'm hosted on novanix.com and then novanix stole my site because i had high traffic and he put his banner there.

Denny, im sorry to say, its a lesson learnt, you should always have a ready contact able to change DNS information for a domain.

If a host screws you about we have a golden rule "ChargeBack" and move on to somewhere else...

Novanix cannot steal your domain, the worst they can do is re route the IP address it points to if you are using their DNS servers.

Hope the guy comes online with the pass for the domain, because the domain is stuck on their DNS servers unless you can get the password for it !!

have you tried writing in to 000domains and telling them the story? they have always been pretty good with support for me. it also helps that your name is there for billing and admin purposes (even if the other details are faked out *g*). if you have a recorded history of being the person paying for it (for your sake i hope you paid by credit card and have the billing receipts) it will go some way towards proving your ownership.

this is a pretty awful situation. it's like barefaced theft. hope it works out okay for you!

i don't think denny was exactly the owner of starcraft gateway, he was the webmaster...meaning he was *payed* (very little) to maintain it.

GOD DAMN ???? I get blaimed here? Do you want to know what really happend? Jason the true owner of scgateway came to me saying he needd hosting as his current host stopped hosting him. i said ok i got into the gaming industry and got an advertiser well all the first payments we made went to him then the advertising money didnt even cover my hosting costs so i started to pay out of my pocket the money difference. Then he tells me we are releasing denny for some new guy so i try and find a solution i work up the idea that we should still pay $50 for doing nothing and so i offer this to denny. Anyway after that failed and i started to lose more than $300 a month paying for bills i told jason that we should do something so he then went and sold all of scgateay and i didnt see a penny.

Why bring up every thread about this? Most of this is dead and gone.
