Hey im willing to spend some money on a few books. Im looking for books about apache,redhat ( or just linux ), and well anything that will help me with web hosting mabe even some talnet/ssh.

Does SAMS have any of these books? if someone could shoot me some names that would be great

This is going to sound like a weird suggestion ...

Go to Borders or Barnes and Noble and look on the Discount Books tables. Its amazing what you find there. Many of the O'Reilly books end up there when a new version of Linux, Perl, etc., come out and they are usually not as out-of-date as a book on WordPerfect 5.1 is. And they are about the same price.

The OReilly.com web site also has a lot of books, and some on hosting, although they are pricey when new.
