I guess I'm pretty much a total newbie at this.

I've been hosting my site on a university web server, but I'll be graduating in December, so it's got to move. I registered a domain already, but now I need some place to put it.

Anyway, I pretty much know the features that I want. All except for traffic. I have no idea how much bandwidth I need. Are there any good rules of thumb to follow? Just take a guess? I don't have access to any traffic logs or anything. It's pretty small, I only get around 3,000 hits/day or so (rough guess).

Anyway, if someone could clue me in on how to figure this out, I'd appreciate it.

well if all your pages are 50kb big...

3,000 x 50 = 150,000
