Hi,

how do you handle accepting US Checks from instabill? on a $9.99 check, my bank needs me to pay around £2 if they are going to convert the money (and keep it)

any opinions please

When we used Instabill it was a case of waiting ofr two cheques before sending them to the bank.
Our bank charges £5 for any number of US cheques per pay in so if you have 4 or 5 the cost comes down.

Can i ask which bank?

Bank of Scotland - Direct Business Banking (phone and internet only)
Because they have branches in the US they doa good deal on US cheques.
Also, if your account has more balance than the cheques you are paying in then they credit the cheques in 2-3 days (you do not need to wait for them to clear at the originating bank in the US).

I used to get $200 per month from commission junction and by the time I combined that with 2 cheques from Instabill the charge of £5 was insignificant.
