Strat a small web hosting business - Windows Server 2003.
Which shall I choose "Web Editions OR Standard Editions"?

If you won't be running MSSQL then Web Edition is ok...

depends on what you want to run on the server (other s/ware) - the web edition is a cut down version designed for providing web-services *only*

as already said - you *cant* install s/ware like mssql onto it.

what if MSSQL is installed on another box, can Web Edition connect to MSSQL server? :eek:

Web Edition can connect to a MS SQL Server that's hosted on another box (Win2000, Win2003 Std, etc)
