Hi,

Still looking for a dedicated server and have recieved so many emails over the last week or so i am getting a bit confused!!??!

One company (burst.net, maybe?) offered me 2 hours free introductory support as I am inexperienced. Any ideas who this was?

Also what are the genral thoughts on burst.net? I have read loads of posts on them and have heard good and bad. WHats the bottom line?

It all seems to depend on how experienced you are. I'm with burst for over a year now (shared hosting tho) and must say that had little to no problems whatsoever.

Support isn't the fastest, but I always got a reply within 24hrs. If you take into account that most of my requests came in at night (due to the time difference as I'm in europe) I wouldn't say that's bad.

Eversince they moved away from VDI I can say that the network has been stable and fast.
