haha... I could see it as a funny site, but i dont think it has any value to anyone except someone with 8$ to spare and a good sense of humor.

Sorry to butt in here but thought you lot might know about this - when a domain runs out of registration, how long (is there a rule) is it before you can re-register it? it's been a few months now after a domain I registered thru an enom registrar has been "free" but it isn't avalible for registration, it shows as registrar lock and still has my contact details on it, but the name servers have been changed to some kind of ad site...

But your situation sounds strange. If it was re-registered it would be all new information. What is the domain you're referring to? If you don't want to publicize it PM me and I'll have a look at it.

Start of registration- 2002-06-11 00:00:00
Registered through- 2003-06-11 00:00:00

I guess it should be in it's 1-45 day period.. however the lame enom reseller I got it thru will not let me renew it

and it says:

This name has EXPIRED, the former whois information is:

The registrar renews the domain automatically for about a month and redirects it to their own nameservers (with pay per click ads in many cases). If the original owner does not pay the fees to reactivate it then they drop it into the redemption grade period (and collect a refund on the domain) and then pendingdelete eventually. Then you can re-register it.

I was going after something like WorstHosts.com or BadHosts.com or HoststhatSuck.com to open a forum.

I have run into WAY to many bad hosts. Some from here also :(

I think others have too, I believe it would b a good forum :)
