View Full Version : TIMMAH IS BACK! Watch out!!!
JasonXRT 07-11-2003, 09:07 PM I just want to let everyone know that Timmah is back and doing his usual scams. And yes, for those wondering, he is still as immature as he was before, scamming through paypal, as usual. He tried to scam me, but thanks to all his previous scams, I learned my lesson. He then proceeded to beg and stuff about how I could trust him. Then he got really mad and started telling me "**** you" and stuff. Real professional. Here are his domains names that I know of that he is running:
http://www.hadomains.com/
http://www.hostaffect.com/
http://www.affectdns.com/
He is scamming on AIM. His screenname is "AffctSales". If anyone has dealt with him and bought something like web hosting or a reccuring thing, I strongly suggest you try and get your money back. From what I can tell, Timmah's latest scam is selling yearly hosting, then killing the site after 1 month so you can't file a complaint with paypal to get money back. I am sure he also has tons of paypal accounts too though.

Coach 07-11-2003, 09:17 PM If it is indeed a Timmah production... a new slogan
hadomains.com... you had it until we scammed it. :D
JasonXRT 07-11-2003, 09:17 PM By the way, here is the whois info for the domains. Chances are Timmah will edit the whois like he did with his other domains, so before he does that, here it is. BOOYAH TIMMAH!!!!

I edited the phone, fax and address out... cause I dont think I can post them here, but if he has scammed you and you want his address info, PM me.
intellec 07-11-2003, 09:21 PM After doing the slick scams, why is Timmah still walking? If figured he would be knee capped by now, or drinking from a straw!
mainarea 07-11-2003, 09:52 PM http://www.xwhois.com/default.asp?domain=affectdns.com
I didn't think he was in NJ. Are you sure that it's Tim? If so, this will make for an interesting thread (almost more interesting than the CI Host thread last night).

okihost 07-11-2003, 09:56 PM It is him for sure.. Call the 800 number listed on the whois and listen to the voice prompts to get to sales.. lol.. I would recognize the little redneck voice from anywhere (infact i swear I could hear Nascar in the background on TV) lol.. you just gotta call it made my day.. YEEEHAW!!
CrazyTech 07-11-2003, 09:58 PM I'm thinking we should make a timmah warning site, there is no telling how many he will sucker in this time before the cat gets pulled out of the bag.

CrazyTech 07-11-2003, 10:33 PM That fits him perfect.
Coach 07-11-2003, 10:50 PM Now this *is* hilarious.
I called the number listed under the whois contact info.
It went through the Host Affection menu and I selected "sales".
A woman answered and said "Hello?"
I asked if this was the sales department and she said it was a private residence.
Apparently mom hasn't been told about his new venture. :D
CrazyTech 07-11-2003, 11:07 PM :D Yep I guess mom doesn't know about her son's dealings.
Esr Tek 07-11-2003, 11:11 PM and you didn't tell her!!!!!!!!! :eek3:

Yea does anyone have a link to a major thread concerning this guy? I searched but there was way to many posts with the word Timmah in them. I am just curious to see how he got this rep.

The next time one of you guys gets ripped off by Tim could you please follow through with nailing him to a tree?
Over these past few years I've seen a lot of indignation, and plans for his demise, but when it gets down to brass tacks no-one ever does anything beyond strut about all puffed up, talking about, "finally getting him this time".
I for one would be more than happy to never hear mention of his name again - but we all know that's never going to happen...

RobTheGolfer 07-12-2003, 03:24 PM We sold Timmah a Dual MP server. Then he didn't pay so we got suspicious and then we read this thread. Now the MP will be formatted.. :)

Before you format it, you should zip up all his files and post them publically for people to download. No wait, that's just being mean ;)

I'm having difficulties in understanding how you sell something before the client pays for it. Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but no money, no dance. :D

Andrew_Ge 07-12-2003, 06:12 PM Im guessing he has noticed this thread - as all of the domains listed have stopped resolving (or have at least stopped resolving for me).
re - timmahwatch.com - Im up for this :D
We took on some clients who got ripped off by earhost.com (which was his I believe), and what they have said about it aint nice :)
Andrew_Ge 07-12-2003, 06:15 PM Having said that, someone on another thread (linked to from this one), said that the IP 162.42.213.175 was part of his empire, this resolves to a Priorahost.com (who i have never heard of) - perhaps one to monitor?
There is a live chat feature on that site if anyone wants to probe :D

You guys (not you in particular Rob) really need to remember the golden rule of:
"No pay, no play"
If people pay for service, give them everything they deserve, but without payment... well the chances are there'll be tears before bedtime, and those tears are probably going to be yours.
Aussie Bob 07-13-2003, 06:58 AM As always Greg, nicely said. :D

Artashes 07-13-2003, 11:02 AM What I don't understand is why no one who ever communicated with him hasn't told his parents yet!
I believe some people have spoken with his parents. Apparently they don't seem to give a damn...
Not surprising.
Vito
Artashes 07-13-2003, 11:06 AM Well if people actually know what he is doing and where he is and who he is... why not involve police, irs? Anything to stop the little fellow. Because while we're talking here, he is continuing with his fraud and what will he be able to do when he is 30? 40?
I just think this is a more serious matter, than entertaining. Has anyone tried to do any of those things? I mean some people here can compile a history of his fraudulent deeds.
I agree, Artashes. It still puzzles me as to why there are so many Timmah victims out there, yet he remains unaccountable. Personally, I know that if he burned me, I would not rest until I saw justice served...

Thanks, Vito. Well, I can start a thread asking people to volunteer and add to the list of his well-known hoaxes and fraudulent activities - then we somehow submit it to the FBI or some other organization, including his profile, file and history of things that are easy to prove. Basically, we will be doing the prosecution a big favor, as industry folks.
Do you think this might work or worth a try? As I said, I can start a thread, but I barely know the guy except for other people's stories. I just think it would be better for overall dedication and enthusiasm if his former-victims would be on this idea of bringing him down. Legally.
How old is he ?
Is there a thread with the full story ?
I am a little bit out of the subject .

Unfortunately, most people do not follow through. In their minds, it ends up being more trouble than it's worth, and they just drop it. Too bad, really. This little $hit deserves to get what's coming to him. He should count his blessings that he hasn't scammed someone who would take him to task...

I agree with you 110%. He is extremely lucky he didn't fool a person who would actually pursue him till he got him.
Someone like me in other words. :D
If his parents don't give a damn about it I would put my lawyer working and get them.
I would not definately get over it.
Agree with vito. Lucky Luke there.

As I mentioned before, I can volunteer my time to this. I'm a justice-person.
We need people who were caught by his scam so we have some proof.
I think sooner or later Timmah will end up being a cellmate to a guy named "Bruiser" who will make Timmah his "honey"... :D
