Does anyone have any input on this program? Supposedly it combines all the Chat programs into one.http://www.trillian.cc/
Their site states: Simply said, Trillian is the ultimate chat program. With so many different chat mediums such as MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ and IRC available today, there needs to be a single unified program for people to communicate with. Enter Trillian. With Trillian, all these chat networks are combined into a powerful, easy to use program.
This is not an ad, I just don't want to have problems if I install this and it stinks. One person said that they had heard it was a nightmare, but I wanted other opinions too.
Thanks.

I use(d) it..depends on what mood I'm in :)

You can connect to AIM, MSN, Y!, IRC and ICQ with it and it's 100% better then Odigo (which sucked..).

The interface is nice by default, and you can download even nicer ones (skins)...give it a try.

Although it does lack some features..like ICQ History - which I really need..

it saves on ram, but you cant go into aim chats or such...but it is nice if you want to talk to all your people on one program...

I like it but would always keep the others installed for backup...unless I have a reason to get off it I am on it

I used it for a while... It was nice but had one hell of a time staying connected to MSN, and it would only connect to ICQ about 50% of the time.

Personally Id say keep looking

I am using Trillian. I simply got tired of ICQ chewing up all the memory so that I had to reboot. Trillian works fine for me, even though I have the others installed as back up.

I notice it runs on Win32 boxes only (unless I'm blind). Anyone else have a similar proggie for *nix? Otherwise I guess I'll wack Win4Lin on my new Mandrake box and run it off there........
