Has anyone ever tried running virtual dedicated raq's?
Could i use something like freevsd to build one??
Any help and or comments other then "why would you want to" are greatly appreciated.

I suppose with the right know-how it's technically possible, but legally I doubt Cobalt would approve.

hmm just curious ya might only be able to cut it into a couple machines till it bogs to nothing
why not do it to a good PIII with SCSI
you will have much better luck
but go for it I guess ;)

Since freeVSD doesn't use virtual machines I don't see any reason why a Raq couldn't run lots of virtual servers. Just allow around 16-32MB RAM for each vs and away you go...
In fact we would be intersted in getting the software up and running on a Raq but it's not something we've really looked into in much depth. Serious ISP's use proper hardware :D
