i need to learn more Cobalt Linux or at least Red Hat Linux to manage my RaQ better. does anyone recommend any particular class offered by Cobalt or anyone else for that matter in the Detroit area? i am not the kind of person that can just read up on it and figure it out. i need hands on training.

Cobalt wants $695 for a self based training program! all they do is send you a few books and a few disks and you have to pay them $695! what a rip off. there has got to be a better way to learn Linux and Cobalt.

read the free manual on the web, use the internet for specific questions, and other than that just install redhat on your personal machine and learn it.

Mandrake's "Mandrake-Campus" isn't specific to Cobalt RaQs, but it is an excellent online source for GNU/Linux "courses". Some online tutorials are geared toward casual desktop users, with others geared for Linux system admin, etc. The price is certainly "right"! (course content is released under the GFDL license (GNU Free Documentation license).

there are many companies offering linux administration, but their prices are so high... i think there is no way to learn except, install linux in your machine, read online manuals and play it...
