which of both provides solutions to SCSI RAID needs?
i need a RAID1 array but i dunno where i can get it and for how much $$

The Linux implementation of software RAID is solid, and introduces almost no CPU overhead... Plus, its cheaper, and you have one less piece of hardware in a box to fail. :-) Take care, Brian |
