Hi everyone,

i recently got shafted by *****, and I'm looking for a new web host provider. I'm just a college student and I don't barely have any money.

I was hoping to have the following features.

1. PHP
2. MySQL (at least 2 databases)
3. 100 + megs of HD
4. Good Bandwidth
5. FTP and Telnet
6. Excellent service time and email response
7. Refund policy
8. About 10-20 dollars a month.

Can you guys help me out on this? I've been searching forever and it's hard to trust my own judgement especially after my initial run-in with *****.

Thanks. :)

Are you looking for offers or suggestions?

If you need offers you need to have this moved to the offers forum. If you need suggestions you could search on php and mysql hosts. Here are my suggestions if that's what you're looking for:

venturesonline.com
hostrocket.com
site5.com
pwebtech.com
cqhost.com

Currently, I'm using cqhost and aletiahosting. Haven't been with aletia long enough to make a recommendation for them yet.

I'm looking for suggestions.
Hopefully from people who don't own a hosting company of their own, but are like me.... using hosting services.

I don't have any experience with either of them so I won't comment. I'm pretty sure technohosts has been discussed here a lot. I would search for both of them.

I recommend http://www.worldzonepro.com/
Gold Plan is only 8$ a month, and you have to contact an admin (alycia@worldzone.net) to order an account.

My recommendation would have to go with F5 hosting. I've had an account with them for a while now and I have to say, the service with them, is way above par than other other I've had accounts with.

Good prices, Good service, even a good community of users there. just my 2 cents.

I should have to agree with Fausty. I have been with f5hosting, well I guess pretty much since the beginning and I must say that they have gone beyond anything I have expected from a hosting service. Give them a look read the forum, I think you will see they are one of the top services out there, may even be the top, they are in my book.

below10host.com and yadnum.com have both been very good to me.

great prices and great service. i just signed up with yadnum recently and they have bent over backwards to accommodate all my annoying requests. i tend to bug people in the middle of the night, because i'm a night person, and they usually respond within 2-3hours. i think they both have packages that would suit your needs, and yadnum as far as my experience goes has been very good at making special arrangements when i need them.

good luck in your search! :)
