i am wondering, with the data transfer per month offered by hosts eg 2gb, 6gb, etc, approximately how many users/unique hits does that equate to?

i know that its gonna vary from s ite to site, but say for just a regular site with no downloading (ie mp3's etc) approx how many hits per say 6gb of transfer

From what I have seen about 10,000 page views is 1gig of transfer. Then again like you say it varies.......

If your web pages average 50k, then

6,000,000k / 50k = 120,000 page views
