Update: I'm working with frattay on planning this and it looks as if in addition to just a luncheon a tour of the Telehouse broadway data center is also in the works, this would make a great addition to a gathering of WHT members.

Hello everyone, I'm sure most of you have read the posts for a meeting in either New York City or Montreal and alot of interest was shown. Now it's all coming down to this...I put together a quick "pre-registration" page to get an idea of how many people really would like to come.

There are no fees or anything like that, it's just a planned gathering of WHT members somewhere(affordable)to do lunch and talk with eachother, in person. There is no obligation to come if you fill out the form I just need to see how many people are seriously interested.

Please consider this, it's a great idea and could lead to many, bigger and greater things.

Just a note, but should you really be pointing a link right at a page that has all these people's e-mail addresses on it?

Had I registered through that page then saw the list I'd be skinning you alive about now ;)

UPDATE: We are setting up a tour of the Telehouse data center on Broadway in Manhattan to add to the meeting/luncheon. Hopefully this will spark some more interest.

Might want to have people wear name tags...except with their usernames included. ;)

Frank, this is not sponsored by WHT. Its just a personal will to gather, meet and have fun. There will be no banning on that meeting though. :D

But the idea is good. If WHT to make shirts at the time, maybe we'll ask them for a few..

I hope to attend, even if there's no shirt involved :D

I filled out the form and picked a date, but don't go by my suggestion if it ends up being a tie breaker. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go. But I'm definitely interested in any WHT NYC events, so keep me updated.

Yes, yes it should be ;-)

As we know for now that we have a tour at Telehouse Data Center. I first wrote them an email and recived about six request backs to see that they all read it and got passed on from what I saw.

Ray Ochlan called me the other day and spoke to him for about 15 minutes. I want to tell you that he sounds like a real nice guy, he knows his work and sounds like he has a great work ethic. He said that WHT members are more than welcome to take a tour and he would take care of us. Ray sounded pretty pumped on what we are doing and that we want intrest in Telehouse.
