I have read many complaining and warning for this and that... I guess happiness is silience when it comes to hosting :)

'98 to present date I still have my original seven domains at NextwebHosting.com (and I say that without using my affiliate link! LOL!)

It's a small Canadian company, rates are competitive and service for my needs has been above average!

Now with 27 domains on the go through 5 different hosts, having five years at one spot for seven of them saids something about their services.

Heh, or maybe just I am too lazy to shop and MOVE!! LOL!

Cheers!

Sounding good :)

What was their domain when your signed up back in '98?

Edit: I've just checked their site and found it was elosoft.com so it still sounds good - 5 years and still going strong in this business is quite an acheivement.

When I first saw your subject I thought you meant a different host popular here who have been in webhosting for 5 years :)

Now that's what I call a review!

IMO, I think you should wait a bit longer than 5 years, before you post such a testimonial. Come back after 10 years and let us know how they're going then.

Hmmmm.... I would originally assume that you work for this company,
but through my years of mindlessly visiting webmaster forums--I know this not to be true...

The host sounds OK, but for the 5 bucks a month plan, they seem to be rippin' people off, for cheaper in american dollars, even though I myself am Canadian (messed up exchange rate, eh? Should be the other way around  ) and I just won't be even considering these guys--not to bash your hopes of having just one more person hosted on their servers ;)

LOL @ Aussie Bob, I was waiting for somebody to say that!

If your happy with the service, no need to shop and move. There would be a good chance of moving to a lower quality service these days. 5 years of positive experience is worth a lot more than features or price when it comes ot hosting.

We can't find "www.NextwebHosting.com"

You can try again by typing the URL in the address bar above.
Or, search the Web:

Thats not good....

Hi Scott!
Good for you! I also agree with UH-Matt :D
Service, support, etc. cant be measured in dollars. I would highly advise staying put.

All of the accounts are "Unlimited"

It is basically the term, I do believe that most discourage the use of or even prohibit it when referring to 'traffic" or "bandwidth"

should be in the signature area. Check the rules. ;)

Howdy Dave L!

Sure - List a 5 year domain? Okey... here is my very first domain, and still my hobby spot (maybe why it has the least amount of work done on it lately {*too busy with clients*}.

If you pull it up with Alexa you can use the watchyamacallit site on the left panel to see the historical pages since 1998. :)
