I'm currently operating between two webhosts: Yahoo! (the former Simplenet) and Burlee.

Yahoo's unwillingness to have CGI has forced to sign up with Burlee. But Burlee levies hefty penalties for overusing bandwidth and/or web space.

I can't afford to be in my current situation any longer - so I have to break down and get a dedicated server and combine my two sites.

Here's what I need:

1) 5 GB HD - I have a lot of audio files as well as text file and image archives;
2) minimum 60 GB monthly bandwidth;
3) ability to set up virtual domains (nyname.nydomain.com, etc...) with some IP addresses;
and the MOST IMPORTANT aspects:

4) Affordable price;
5) GOOD tech support.

ANY help would be appreciated at this point. Thank you.

Addendum:

Yahoo offers a Cobalt RaQ (http://servers.yahoo.com/) but it only give 40 GB for bandwidth and I haven't heard GOOD things about RaQs. I'm really stuck and I need some advice or suggestions. :|

I don't know about Yahoo's new business, but it sounds like a Raq would be just perfect for what you're doing.

I've decided to go with Rackshack. I've heard mostly good things about them from friends and this board - despite the fact that a good number of people I spoke with aren't fond of RaQs.

175 GBs/month? Man - that's like perfect b/c the two sites I had a combined 70 GBs a month. :)

If you are going to go with RackShack, I seriously urge you to read what other's have said about them in the Cobalt RaQ forum. I, for one, cannot recommend them anymore.

Here's one:

Good luck.
