We're getting this spam since a few days on all of our domains:
Hi,
I just tried to visit your website at www.domain.com and got the following error in my Internet Explorer:
Cannot find server or DNS Error
It's probably just some router or something on the Internet, but thought you would like to know.
Let me know if you get it back up.
Dirk.

That's good!
As Spam Cop would say, "Yum! This spam is fresh!"

Yeah, me too.
Just the latest silly idea from spammers.

It's not. What is though is a good way to get a bite out of people so the reply and therefore confirm their e-mail address as valid.
I guess spammers are feeling the lean times. A few days ago I got a blank e-mail sent me, followed several hours later by some junk. I suppose they wanted to test the list with a blank first to reduce transfer, then mail out to anything that didn't bounce :D
The sooner they're all out in the streets with a cup int heir hands singing "Alms for the Poor" the better I say.
