Anybody use First Data for their merchant account? We did, but the dumped us for too many chargebacks, took five of our batches, and never explained why. I have talked to them 5 times over the last month trying to determine where our $$$ is, and now, the phone number I was calling to talk to them now goes to BankBoston Merchant Services!?!?!

Anybody know what is going on with First Data??

First Data... all their banks' merchant services go into the same call center, including Bank Boston/Credit Suisse.

FD is a merchant processor and they require you to have a merchant account with one of their real world affiliated banks, such as Bank Boston, it's odd when a merchant actually knows that First Data is actually handling the processing directly because they process more than 60% of all credit card transactions in the USA normally all behind the scenes.

I've always seen them as a bit scurious.
