hi all,

can anyone tell how to grant the privileges to the root???

I have make a mistake last time. I just revoke the privileges from the root and then forgot to grant back the privileges for the root.

so now i can't even select a table from databases.

every time i select or other privileges, it shows

ERROR 1142: select command denied to user: 'root@localhost' for table 'user'

when i grant the root

ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES)

this kind of problem appear.
