Doing a locate on all servers returns:

/usr/local/cpanel/etc/sym/psyBNC.sym

Is this supposed to be there? If not, how much of this should be removed?

Thanks
John

I'm not positive, but I believe that's part of the system which scans processes for psyBNC and other IRC related software which might be disabled.

Yes, I thought about that. Can anyone verify this?

yes, open it and it should read
psyBNC
PSYBNC

(mine does), it is just a file containing the names to look for when searching for IRC bots\bounces etc if you enable that option.

Cpanel has a function to scan for processes (You can enable it under WHM). Basically what that file stores is symbols/signatures of what processes names to scan for. It's not an actual BNC running.
