That's because DI's specials are genuine specials, offered for a limited time only. Many other companies offer "specials" where the only thing that changes is the expiration date, which continues to be extended.

Well I am not sure if it is over, they are running some other ones like Cobalt RAQ3's for $99 per month... you ask for their Sales Manager.

Looking at DialTone's Raq specials, keep in mind that the fine print says the minimum contract is 6-months.
For the 32MB Raq, you pay an average of $157 per month then - 3 months at $99 and 3 months at $215 - before your contract is up.
For the 64MB Raq, you pay an average of $171.50 per month then - 3 months at $99 and 3 months at $244 - before your contract is up.
The question is - what price are you going to pay six months from now? Can you negotiate it down? Most probably, as Raq prices will most certainly be lower in six months. But if you don't like the new price, you will have to move your clients somewhere else in six months.

Well to be honest with you pricing is something that always you have to keep in mind; of course it will go down with the time. If one waits you will never get a dedicated server. What I am trying to say is that they always very competitive prices, offer the most and are very efficient.
