I was wondering that instead of saving it to a folder in my desktop, can i download a game by copying it to a CD. How Do u do that? I have a CD-RW 40x max write in my PC. For example, i want to download the demo game " Jedi Knight II: Outcast" on my 56k modem which takes 5-8 hrs to finish downloading. I'm not going to wait that long. I was thinking that u can download demos into a cd-rw cd, cuz my computer can burn cd's. Is it possible???
Thank you very much. :D

In order to download the game it has to go through the modem. Burning it directly to a CD instead of downloading it to your desktop won't make a difference

U mean no "speed difference" If so, how do u download the game on to a CD?

Are you serious? The game won't magically appear on your CD. You will need to download it to your computer, then burn it to a cd. There won't be any advantages to running it off a CD instead of the HD. In fact, it will be 4x as slow.

ohhh.....okay i just wanted to check. I never knew that. I guess i have to tell my dad to get DSL.
You probably shouldn't burn directly to the CD anyway, but instead to the hard disk first. Keeps you from making a bunch of coasters...
