We are in search of a host for a lyris dedicated server. We own a copy of the software, but we are looking to lease a server. so I thought I would see what you can offer.

Here are our current specs:

Dual 800 MHZ
1GB of RAM
(2) 9 or 18 GB SCSI drives
Bandwith is around 200 GB/month
2 IP's
CGI-BIN


We don't want it to be throttled, we need it to be open because the server will run hard for 6-8 hours and then barely be used the other part of the day. Lyris has its own mail server inside of it so we won't be using sendmail. We are looking for a Linux server.

We are currently hosted at http://www.cybercon.com where we are being charged each month for our processor and memory upgrades. The service is good but we are looking to beat their price. The server does not require much speciality for a host, just a basic dedicated server with bandwith. Looking for some other offers besides efreeservers.com

Take a look at www.efreeservers.com
I'm not sure how good their services are, but their prices are pretty good. You might want to search this board for more info about them first though.

If anyone can give me anything close to this it will be acceptable, the main thing we are not liking is the monthly charge on our bills for upgrades that have since been paid for a long time.

Any hosts with Single P III plans that can come close or beat the specs listed above would be appreciated. Like I said the server is not that much different than someone hosting a large website.
