Since installing webalizer, iv'e noticed a problem on my server (could be related, or perhaps not).
The night after I received a red light on my control panel saying "smtp server not responding". I rebooted the server, and the control panel red light went away. Today I noticed that all programs that use sendmail (form-to-email scripts) don't work right. For example, my hitspot.net contact form- after you fill out the form and press send it just freezes and then after a minute gives you an "error loading form.cgi". The email actually is sent to my email account though, but it is supposed to take the user to a "thank you" page, and crashes before then. I tried this is several other cgi scripts that use sendmail, with the same result. (different programs). It is also happening to every site on the server, some of my hosting clients. Could something have happened to sendmail to cause this problem? Do you have any ideas as to how to fix it?
