I am thinking about buying a souped-up computer with a wireless optical mouse and wireless keyboard. I plan to run the audio out of my computer, through my dvd player, and into my stereo. I also want to run the video through my dvd player and into my tv. My question is: is this actually possible? Do they make the cables that I need to do this?

As long as your video card supports TV-out it uses standard cables. Not sure why you would run the audio and video through the dvd player, though.

What I do is use my tuner card for that. It has all kinds of lil goodies on it.

if i read your post correct... i think S-Video could do the same thing... minus the audio...

In short it's all about the right video card and the right sound card. There are cards available to do what you want - you'll just need to chat to your local computer store about which ones you need.
