dantor.com
A pal of mine is interested in one of their deals.
Their prices look good, almost too good if you see what I mean.
Are they reseller, own their own, own datacentre etc, etc.
I did a traceroute but it didnt tell me much.
Thx.

Well they have 2 class c licenses from cable and wireless.
They are running off there backbone which is one of the largest.
I have no other info on them
Not to say anything bad, but i would be werry when they post this:
Unlimited Bandwidth Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Monthly Transfers 1GB 3GB 4GB 5GB 5GB
Thats kind of strange

There's a difference
Bandwidth:
The width of the band / line... (speed)
Transfers:
Traffic... The amount of GBs downloaded
I agree,
Bandwidth is mostly used to express what "Traffic/Transfer" means

Well there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth, and they cap there transfer.
Doesnt make much sense.

Correct,
even OC192 has a limit, being OC-192 (DOH!)
[OC-192 eq 10GB/s]
Like I said, they mostly mistake "bandwidth" for traffic

I missed the bandwith/traffic bit, it was the charges for extra bandwith caught my eye $10 - 15 per gig if I remember correctly!, you'd think they were in the UK!
Thx.
