Hiya :)
I am going to begin reselling web space very soon as a compliment to design work, and I will obviously need to be able to accept credit cards online.
Which is the best service for this, for people outside the US (specifically, Australia)? I keep seeing Revecom mentioned, are they worth investigating?
I'll obviously be starting off small, so I won't need a full-blown merchant account.
Any help appreciated :)

we used ibill for ages and they were fine.
just be carefull to give good notice when you intend to leave them. when we tried as we had just got a merchant account, it took them two weeks to cancel the billings.
don't get me wrong though, they really are very good!

We are using for Revecom for months now, it works smoothly for us and it also support reoccuring biiling.
Besides they also sent us our payment on time.
Theirr support response time are less than 8 hours ususally. During their daily working hours it might be faster.
Besides, they are upgrading and enhancing their features. Like free trials for centain days (future processing) and they will also affiliate tracking soon for their merchant.
One thing which can say good and also can said bad to Revecom is they are very 'careful / sensitive' to fraud transaction.
Some other 3rd party merchant processing account you may take a look are:

I can suggest sfcommerce.com for a real Merchant account for NON USA citizens.
the setup fee is $299 (expensive I know, but it worth)
after that you pay $0.35+2.25% per transaction.

WorldPay seem to be good as they offer a range of different currency accounts, only problem is the £350 set up fee. It might be worth trying to get a mechant account with a bank :)

Hi guys, thanks for the replies :)
I've gone with Revecom for now, since I doubt I'll have enough billings for the first few months to make a merchant acct worthwhile - but thanks for the suggestions :) I know who to check out next time now :D

Ahhhhh Mahke...I wish I had read this earlier.
We have someone on our own doorstep, in the World Centre, Melbourne actually, who would have suited your requirements.
Email me support@aussiehosts.com if you want some more information.

G'day Mahke,
A closer to home solution you may like to look at is www.payments.com.au
So long as you have an Internet Merchant Terminal ID with an Australian bank you can subscribe to one of the following plans.
Plan A
$49.95 per month, 100 free transactions then 45c per transaction after that.
Plan B
$29.95 monthly fee, 45c per transaction.
Plan C
$19.95 monthly fee, 1% of transaction value or 45c, whichever is greater.
These charges are all in AU$ of course, so divide by 2 to compare them to US$ charges.
Best Regards
