I don't think this count's as advertising as we don't sell anything to visitors and it has a strong relevance to the boards theme.

Hi Everyone,

We've just launched a new site for the UK aiming to guide and assist people in their search for the perfect host. WebHostWatch (http://webhostwatch.co.uk) is a resource of the UK's top web hosts, ISP's, domain registrars, payment gateway's and designers.

If you are looking for any of these then please have a visit to the site. Regular news is also on hand and visitors are encouraged to post any news they hear of which may even be published on the main page.
All articles are archived for future reference and for the convenience of the user.

It cost's nothing to register as a member or to have your site included in the directory (as long as you are based in the UK and sell to a UK audience)

The site is not an alternative or rival to WebHostingTalk or BigBytez, rather a site to co-inside with them to help UK visitors in their quests. Too many directories and forum's based in the UK have started advertising and leaning towards US hosts and we aim to give the visitors what they want.

Please register as a user when you visit to make the site more interactive and enjoyable for yourself.

We currently have a poll up on the site and would be glad if all UK readers could cast their vote (user registration advised before voting)

Thank you for your time,

The WHW Team

Anyway... no offense, but you should consider recruiting the services of an editor. The site has a good, professional look; but that's detracted from by the many typos and grammatical errors.

Hi,

Then what's that big banner at the top offering advertising sales?

We have to pay for the site somehow. The point is that anyone can use it free and everyone can be listed free.

I can't see any typo's? We have four (soon five) people looking after the site. It isn't made for profit, it's made for enjoyment. We all have jobs outside of the site and take turns to develop, edit and maintain the site. We understand that some people are picky on spag (Spelling and Grammar) although the site has only been up a couple of days. As the months go on, more visitors will hopefully join and they will help to develop, feed and steer it to it's future.
The site allows for syndication, input, comments and visitor reviews which cannot be totally edited, as the writers will not be encouraged to post again if they can't even recognise their own post.

I'm not having a go, and I am sure that neither are you and I'll take your comments into consideration.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our site,

Robert Kerry
