I imagine every reply you get here will be RACKSHACK - considering UC just moved to sago - which peeps are still unsure about.

I have no experiences with UC (I guess you mean UnitedColo), but I have some experiences with RS. If you can manage a server should you go with RS. They have a great network with a lot of different bandwidth providers and almost no downtime.

You should make a search on UnitedColo. They have just been sold to Sago Networks.

why the hell do people ask stupid questions like this without doing even a simple search...!? if someone were to come to me and say they are racing, and ask me whether they should drive the pinto or the ferrari, i'd probably smack 'em... just a stupid question... ... ... just a matter of whether u can afford it or not... which translates to how much bandwidh you gonna use... ... ...

I don't think comparing sagonet (UC) to RS is quite equivalant to comparing a ferrarri to a pinto. ..

Initially, Rackshack is definately of course on top connection wise..

However, sagonet.com/UCG is half the price of Rackshack if they are still doing their $50 plan.

I believe it does indeed all depend on what sort of quality you are looking for, however labeling sagonet as a pinto is not quite fair.

It's like comparing a honda to a mercedes. Both have their places, however one of them is obviously abetter quality than the other, however you do pay for that quality.

I think rather than people saying "Rackshack rules" or words to the effect of that he wants evidence.

Rackshack definitely.. I was a United Colo customer (their second in fact) and as such was happy with the service provided for the price.

The "network upgrade" that turned into the cross country relocation was not well handled in my opinion.

My server died after being up for a day in Tampa, and the support was way too slow - down for more than 48 hours. I switched to RS while waiting for Sago to get me back up and have been very happy with the qulaity so far (admitedly only 1 week :) My DNS had resolved before Sago had my box even back alive...

There still seems to be uncertainty what the deal with Sago and UCG is... I was told categorically that UCG would cease to exist... that was until I suggested I'd be pissed if I saw a charge from Sago next month.. They replied that they are "the service provider for United Colo"

Rackshack - no question.

Rackshack has a very good network, great prices, and an active user forum.
