Hi guys,
For those of you that are running Cold Fusion on their server, how do you give your user access to add their own ODBC and CFX Tags.
I'm running Linux, and I have Cold Fusion installed. So far, I'm the only one using it. But I want to start adding Cold Fusion as part of my services. Is there any website that can help me out ?

OK, i've only ever run Cold fusion 4 on nt 4, with apache as web server. I dont think you wanna give anyone access to the cold fusion server to edit ODBC or Databases.... This will pretty much leave your system wide open for attack......
I could be wrong, but i dont think so.

*offtopic*
The August 2001 copy of Australian Personal Computer has a free copy of Macromedia's Cold Fusion Server 5 on the cover (single user unlimited)
Not really on topic at all, but just to give a heads up to anyone looking for something to play with.
It's also got a full version of EditLive 2.0 and the Java SDK Standard 1.3.1

Apparently not. The multiuser licence is a trial, but for single domain use it's not crippled at all. I suppose the idea is if you dig using it on your own server/domain, then you'll grab a full licence to share it around. Something like ColdFusion isn't the sort of thing you'd have a tinker with for a month and have a clear idea of whether it suits you or not, hence this idea I guess :)
June's APC mag had RedHat 7.1 and Quicken Deluxe 7.5 on the CD (full, uncrippled) so after a half assed few months they're making the mag worth buying again *lol*

I think you can get the express version at Allaire for free. They used to have the express version at the allaire site available for download but i checked the allaire site today and i was redirected to macromedia.
I have the Cold Fusion express version.. and this copy will not expire :)
