Any news for them after the VDI crisis? I would like to hear more from their current customers.

what do you mean by that. Interserver is in crisis or VDI is in crisis. Please post in details. I don't think anyone can understand what you are saying. ?

Well, both VDI and InterServer are doing great now.

You can't go wrong with either of them :)

THere have been absolutly no problems at all at VDI since the upgrades.

Stop being around the bush, what issues or rumours has people been saying now ?

I have been getting steady sign ups, my clients tell me me they have been getting tremendous Virtual account signups..

VDI is opening another 5000 Sq feet of data Center space added , which some people have been witnessing.

Soooooo, if you want a server at VDI now is the time !!

We have 2 OC3`s and back up Ds3`s and a lot of bandwidth to make deals with.

Nothing against VDI

But your dedicated server rates are crazy.

At 575 a month, well overall i can do alot better then that.

I have 1 rack so far, and for about 7200 which is what it costs a year at that price.

I can get two machines, almost 3 for the same price.

Just going off your website:

Dedicated Server I - VDI will Provide Server
Cpanel and WebhostManager: $25.00 Monthly linux only
Setup fee: $300.00
Monthly
Transfer: 100 Gigabyte
($6.00 a gig over the amount.)
Operating
System: Redhat Linux
Rackmount Case
ATX - Motherboard
128 SDRAM "Memory"
3com-905 Ethernet card "10/100"
Pentium III 700 MHZ
1 Western Digital Drives - 20 Gig
Additional Notes:
We provide Battery Back up, rack space and Unlimited reboots.

With unlimited Virtual hosting you can run many IP-less domains.
Monthly Fee: $575.00 + $25.00 Cp3/

That is crazy, you might be all better now, but those rates are way too high

there is nothing wrong with VDI pricing module. This is there business module to keep prices high on there web site so that there resellers can sell on lower prices. in this way they get lots of server orders from resellers.
interserver.net is also a kind of reseller with vdi. i have servers with interserver.net they really give me good price. :)

Im not saying vdi is bad, they overall seem well.

But those prices are very high

As i Said, i can a minimum of 2 servers for the same price and better specs.

And have a solid backbone,

I just find that over priced, as Pc prices have droped to nothing

I Didn`t think that made ya allupset :)

We didn`t want to cater to a low price market, ect

We are putting up a Customized Dedicated server page, i hope by thursday. this will allow people to go and lower that price down a bit.

We do how ever sell 4- 5 servers every weekish and people never said a word.

but, if i go and lower it, what do say to all the current clients. ?

I`ll make a customized page so it can be modified, this should help yall out :)

I think the pricing helps deter people from leaving a VDI customer and going straight to VDI.

Those prices are off the charts, its just a thought

I just dont know why anyone would pay twice as much for a server.

Most people regardless of price want to make money.

2 servers for the same price can make you more money

I kind of have to agree with what VDI is doing here. It sends the people that colocate with them the buisness. You don't want to compete with your customers.

Compared to who? Alabanza? From what I know, their prices are cheaper than Alabanza. And I think they're in the same market.
