Don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting sick of the death throes of Napster. I wish someone would just stick a steak in their heart and get it over with.

I've been using Morpheus, and it absolutely rocks. The minute I found it I uninstalled Napster. Is anyone using other file sharing software?

I heard the end of a story on the radio the other day that said they'd won a court case to resume operations. Anyone know what that was about exactly?

I think BearShare does have spyware in it.
I used BearShare until I found Morpheus. I love it.:D

Would have been easier to find if you would have told me where it was:eek:
Downloading it now though :D

Seems worth a try

The newer verisions of BearShare give you the option of installing OnFlow.

www.lavasoft.de (Lavasoft Adaware)

Great spyware killer you might have heard of.
Currently the site is showing a 403 error so I'm not sure if they're still on the air. If they're dead, check your local computer rags for it on CD. I use it religiously. It nails both the usual suspect files, as well as known cookies.

Of course, if you're using a adware supported program like GoZilla it may toast the program.

I've used Kazaa (www.kazaa.com) a few times, it lets you download from multiple users that have the same file at once. Also supports resume. Still needs a lot of work though.
