Anyone here have accounts with Cosmotek? They seem to vanish from the face of the Internet. It's almost 24 hours now that I was aware that they've been down and they still are. Their main site is not accessible as well as webexpose.net, their old domain, and all my accounts with them.

Yes right cosmotek.net can now be accessed from other areas. I've just tracerouted it through samspade.org. But my other sites with them can't still be accessed from other sites. cosmotek.net also still can't be accessed from my area.

Okay. . . .You're right. . . .Something's strange.

I can ping cosmotek.net , but I can't cebu-online .

I can get info with NeoTrace on cosmotek.net , but when I enter cebu-online.com I get "Cannot resolve domain name"

hmm:eek:

Just a correction, cebu-online.com is not hosted with Cosmotek.

If the cosmotek.net domain won't resolve from your end, I guess it their site is still down right now though a traceroute gets through.

It appears as though only customers located in India, Pakistan and Asia, who had VSNL as their ISP were affected. It appears as though it was proactive security measures against the problems the White House was having with their network. CosmoTek posted a status update on their website in regards to this issue:
http://support.cosmotek.net/status.asp?id=37

I'm not sure if they emailed anyone about the problem, but I know that I haven't had problems on their network at all during this whole incident.

Is anyone still having trouble accessing their network, because the status says that the issue is resolved. I'm assuming that means the block is off.
