Hello, it has come to my attintion that I am in need of web hosting with a lot of bandwidth. at the very least 30 gigs a month,

So I am looking for
at least 300mb disk space,
at least 30gigs BW thats at LEAST <-----least, as in nothing under, but a lot over
at least 5 emails
all the extras that will let me run a board like ikon board or something

Unlimited bandwidth need not apply unless you can give me something in writing saying i can use at least 60 gigs or more a month, that is well under unlimited after all isnt it.

if I can get this in a host, I can get funding for my website. around 20 bucks a month, paid yearly, no set up fees please.
If I concider you, I will check your rep on this and other boards.

You are asking for a host to provide bandwidth at $0.66 a gig. Aside from your other requirements, that should never happen on a shared server. Good luck...

30GB/month for $20 is very hard to find since most hosts are paying at least $2/GB themselves for the bandwidth. So you want to buy something that costs the webhost $60/month for $20/month (not to mention the support, space, server cost, etc).

The only ones I know that offer such deal is www.tera-byte.com (on RaQ servers) and they don't offer more than 150-200MB space per account because if they do people will actually use up the given bandwidth and they will loose money on the deal. Also from my personal experience, their connection is pretty slow at times (bottle neck?).

I might be willing to bring down my web space a bit, all I want is 2 .mov files one 103.3 mb and one 45mb, a couple jpegs, some html, and a message board like this one or iconboard.

I don't think hosts will find the space to be a problem, it's the bandwidth for $.66/gig that can't be met.

I'm looking at tera-byte.com, and they can do it.

Question, if they can do it, why can't you other hosts? do they have a magic source of bandwidth?

Why haven't you signed up with them yet, then? :D $20 for 30 gigs is something most hosts can't offer.
