Anyone know of a script that I can use to allow all web sites I host to create their own web site via browser?
1. Reside on main site on raq.
2. Allow to edit and upload files to any site on the server.
3. Password protection. Would be nice if it uses the system username/password for authentication.
Any scripts like this anywhere? I've looked at many on all the script archive and most require you to install a copy on EVERY site.

This looks like it would have to be a custom build. If you want it bad enough I am sure there are many scripters who can code one for you - at a price. Try advertising for a coder on cgi resources.

SiteStudio from psoft.net (I represent the company) can be configured to do that.
You create websites using web-browser.
They will be uploaded to user's site on the same server (or you can set it up for multiple servers).
The software allows password protect some of the pages (using .htaccess mechanism).
The software is done with java.

I use http://gossamer-threads.com/scripts/fileman/ Fileman 1.0
The demo for this is at: http://gossamer-threads.com/perl/fileman/manage.cgi
Pretty easy to set up. Advised to put the script in a directory that is protected, esp. if you use the free version.
I even modified the script to set up passworded
directories on the Raq, their version will not work.
If you get it PM me and I will tell you how to make the
simple mod to allow people to add or remove a passworded area on a raq directory.
I set this script up free of charge for my customers
if they request it.
I will be gone until Sunday 6:00pm EST, so I can reply to anyone
then if they need help with this script.
