jodo host.com

I use them for windows hosting though. They got some attractive linux packages as well. As for uptime, haven't been down since I signed up. Support is pretty good too. I just have a chat with their support staff online. Never had to submit a ticket so far :)

I currently use Fluidhosting.com. You can search my name to find a review I provided last month about the great service and hosting... so far the best I've seen.

The other service provider above is banned from this board... Jodo host... I would stay away from them. Even if you don't use fluidhosting don't use jodo host....

Just switched to dr2.net.

Can't comment on uptime yet since it's only been days, but received almost instantaneous replies for help with setting up.

Greetings,

It doesn't necessary mean if a host is banned from WHT they are not good or you should stay away from them.

I would recommend P4host.com (http://www.p4host.com) on uptime.

Dathorn.com on uptime and support.

Yes, it does... stay away! The rules are not that hard on WHT... many host stay here and follow the rules. A host that does not is simply bad news. I will add that there should be some type of rule that allows a host back after a while... if that host can act like they have some sense.

But it has been MY experience on WHT that host who are banned are bad news.

I agree with Amir. Its really stupid to say that if a host is banned from here, they are no good. Jodo host is inexpensive, jodo host has fantastic support, jodo host has excellent server speeds and jodo host has excellent uptime. Why should I not use them? because they are banned? jeez...

C I Host is banned. I hear they are a great host. I doubt such a financially strong company would have spammed these boards.

Can you show me in anyway why Jodo Host is bad? I searched these forums, found nothing bad about them. Only good comments

I wanted to signup with jodo but because of their new policy (disabling passive mode FTP transfers) I can't. I use a router. Have a look at this thread:

http://forums.jodo host.com/thread.php?threadid=194

Is this reasonable or unreasonable? Are they just being paranoid about security or what? Is there any other host here that has disabled passive mode?
