Did you test it from your location, and see if it works?
Did you ask your client for a traceroute?
Does your client ISP place any limits?

Is there an alias or distribute list that matches the identity in some form or manner with that e-mail address in question?

sprintserve----- I already tested this and it seems fine
it is only that account creating this problems.
tbnguyen------- no there is no mailing list but he has installed a forwarder tha works the following way:
john@domain.com --> john.malcom@domain.com
Sincerely I cannot see any send of this forwarder since it goes to the same domain.... but if the customer is happy we will be to...
Could this be the problem?
Thanks a lot

I highly doubt a forwarder could be the problem on that account as it looks like 2 separate accounts.
- Is he/she resolving to the right IP address for the mail server?
- Could a different IP be cached on his/her system that is going to the wrong server? Try ipconfig /register at the command prompt in the windows command prompt. Or release and renew the IP address on that station.
- Is he/she on the same network LAN as the other clients?
- Have you tried accessing the mail from another PC on another network?
That may clarify a few things.
