We have one that I know of. We've had customers come from other hosts, but some never say where from, and we never really ask. :) It's up to them if they want to disclose that information or not.

So no one looks up the domain of the person that just signed up in a whois to make sure they didn't make any typos in their address/phone/email ??

If it's good enough for the CC processor, it's good enough for me, generally. Usually I do a good bit of talking with the customer before they sign up. I trust them enough to trust the information they enter is valid -- and if the CC processor accepts it, it's fine with me. That doesn't apply with all of our customers, but the majority of them.

Do you really ask your clients? Some of them volunteer the information though.
