when creating a subdomain i get this error:

"ndc: connect failed: connection refused"


what does that mean?..needless to say the subdomain doesnt work after creation

Usually that error means you need to run from shell, scripts/fixndc
and the problem will go away. If you don't have shell access ask your host to run it for you.
