Apart from the bog standard "Whats the path to perl?" - what is the most common question tech support gets asked?

And how often is the question already answered on the web site or set-up email you so lovingly crafted in order to reduce tech support requests?

:D

"Why isn't my domain showing up?"

The overall question I think gets asked a lot more than many others. A lot of it being the people that expect the domain to follow them around to whatever host they go to like the good little domain it should be. Or the ones that just registered the domain and have to be told the internet isn't as fast as is promoted in many cases.

I don't work for a host, but the most commonly asked question is:

"Why is the Internet down?"

(Said when it takes more than 1 second to load a page).

You know I have had that question quite a few times and that is the usual answer for that question but I have had some people not even have the domain registered and they still can`t understand it!! :D

"When I fill out a form on my website, why do I get a page that says bad referrer?" (read: formmail.pl)

Our biggest questions by far are Email related. How do I check my email? etc.

Of course, all of this is answered in the Email we originally sent. :-(

How about 'what's my password?' after they've changed the init pass and forgotten what they changed it to (no doubt the sticky note on the monitor with the new password on it got stolen by the password gremlins).
