Anyone from Sweden ? Can you get back in yet ?
The breakdown of one of Swedish operator Telia's main Internet routers in Sweden's capital on Saturday unplugged more than a million of the country's internet subscribers for several hours.
In total over 340,000 broadband and 700,000 dial-up customers across Sweden were affected by the incident
This kind of news always gives me goose bumps. We only have one carrier in Australia.

Was it only a couple of hours ? It was said to be several when I saw it on the TV. Oh well, it's the way of TV news to paint the blackest (most newsworthy) picture I suppose
Pretty bloody irritating if we happened to be in Sweden though

I feel sorry for the guys fixing that... talk about pressure to get a job done right, quickly.

Where do you live susannad? Australia?
Because I live in Sweden, though I don't have Telia as my internet service provider, yet I still haven't heard a thing about this.
Feels weird if the Australians are more up to date on Swedish news than myself...

Seems India even beat the Aussies on this one :) Australian newspaper's don't write a lot of their own material but rather 'borrow' it from less known sources much of the time.
I'm from Sweden and I have Telia broadband. It was down for a couple of hours but it's up now again.
