Isn't this unbelievable? Well, actually it's not the bank, it's the credit card institute.

I had signed up for 1 year with a crap host (I'm not gona name them here) who happend to disappear just a couple of weeks after I signed up.

They didn't give a refund and I eventually requested a chargeback through my CC institute. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called the CC inst. to see if this goes ok and guess what: They said the amount was too low and it wouldn't be worth for them to pursue the issue, and so they simply credit my card with that amount but the host doesn't have to give the money back.... Somehow unsatisfactory :( but well, I have my money back :D

The problem is, if the amount is so low it will actually cost them more in employee wages time in the attempt to get it back than it will to just give it to you without quibble, they dont care, they make more money in half a second than you do in your entire lifetime :bawling:
