Curious im working on a pricing. What would you pay for this server. This is for the actual server not renting etc.

Dual Xeon 2.4 GHz 533 FSB 512 Cache
1GB of DDR ECC Reg Memory (2x 512 Kingston)
Tyan Tiger i7501 S2723GGN
2x 120GB WD Hardrive 7200 RPM 8MB Cache
2U Chassis with 460Watts PowerSupply

So if you had the money what would you pay for one of these servers. Please be reasonable, nothing like FREE or so forth. I will be pricing htese servers based on your opinion. What config would you rather pay for.

1x 120GB HD, 2x 120GB HD , 2x 120GB HD (Raid)
1x 80GB HD, 2x 80GB HD, 2x 80GB HD(Raid)
36GB Scsi 10k RPM or 15kRPM

Please i'd be interested in listening to what the maximum you'd be prepared to pay for this or what price you are looking to pay for one of these. Thanks, this will all help.

As someone who's computer hardware pricing knowledge is limited to desktops, id say 2 grand and I'd rather have 2x 80GB in raid, but i think 40 or 60 GB each would be sufficient.

Yeah, around 2 Grand seems reasonable, Dual Xeon... hmm... not exactly sure how much that costs but I myself use Kingmax ram, its QUALITY!!

Really depends if you get a whitebox or a brand name one eg. dell. For a whitebox 2-3k and for a brand name it can go up to 4-5k.

Thank you Rob but i am not asking what you can buy it for, what you are willing to pay for it. I dont need to know what i can pay for it as i get it from a distributer.

Well I am willing to pay $1600 obviously since I can build it myself for that! :)
