I have full version of norton, wouldn't pick up a virus if it fell in its lap!

update what, I think they just make pretend updates when they haven't added more virus definitions since Bush became president

AVG by Grisoft - they have a free version... which I have used for the last few years, but recently paid for it..it really is worth the money.

You probably want an anti-virus program. :)

Although, if you really want a virus program that won't crash your computer, I recommend any known klez variation.

I second that.

I had norton running as the kelz virus just up and infected me and norton didn't even blink at it.

Downloaded AVG it picked it right away, cleaned it and has caught it many times since including once today.

any anti virus program's efficacy depends on how often you update it and how many times daily.

I was running it every 2 days and updating it. It did nothing in the last 8 months. Before Bush it used to catch any fly like the venus fly trap. Figures when I finally buy the full version for $50 norton goes under. I remember using norton with my 386!
