Welcome to Vietnam all over again and it will only get worse with time.

It is G.W Bush's quagmire now.

This is the bit of the war I'd always presumed would happen, but was happily suprised that when they got to Baghdad, didn't.

Sadly it seems it was just a matter of time.

I think that the US needs to do something pretty quickly to get the government up there, then make themselves scarce - or at least drop into the background.

Given the problems with establishing a government everyone is happy with though, I think it could get a bit uglier there before it gets better...

It is sad that nothing much can be done about guerrilla warfare.
I thought iraq will be rebuilt soon and the sufferings of the people there alleviated as soon as possible...but things like these delay the process of sure.

Isn't war just the oddest thing? People actually find honor in killing other men becuase they are 'support their country'. How about you stand for what you beleive in, not what some bureaucrats in a big, safe building tell you is correct.

WAR IS NEVER THE ANSWER. IT IS JUST A TEMPORARY FIX!

Not 'support their country' but 'make their country safer.' You can argue about whether taking out that regime does make this country safer, but the reason for it wasn't just to kill to support our country. :)
