I am accepting offers for description.com.

Should the offers not meet my reserve price i reserve the right not to sell.

The perfect name for a dictionary.com type site using subdomains
eg. a user could type car.description.com or website.description.com and be taken to a dynamic subdomain detailing that description.

As mentioned, i may develop this name, hence the logo here (http://www.theshopsite.com/logo.gif). This is included in the auction should the name be sold.

i'd say that it doesn't matter how many results you get from google for a word, that doesn't matter at all, what matter is number of searches for "[something] description" at search engines - check it out - for example at inventory.overture.com

but happy selling its undoubtly a great name

PS - With regard to the comment from Dex. That is a good point! and with a domain such as description.com, unlimited subdomains could be used to boost traffic from search engines.

A couple of quick overture search showed the following numbers;
60365 - job description
5992 - career description
95 - car description
70 - technical description

The high bid is now $1650.
