I was reading a post regarding klan-host.com and I wanted to add some info to it but noticed that it was locked it. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=153954&highlight=Klanhost I feel that klan-host is scamming its clients (sorta-speak) I am a subscriber to klan-host web hosting and feel the same way that ENSupport, just not as angry.

I think that people ot to know that Dave has more than one hosting company and uses more than one screen name here at WHT. He uses' "DaVeKH" and "BuzHost," he has told me to email him at support@buzhost.com, but no matter where I email him I still get no responce.

As for my account(s) I have weird things going on as well.
1. in my disk space used I am at 900MB when I know that I am only using 250MB, I have asked him about this and he just gave me a larger disk space quota. I still dont know anything about this extra baggage that I have.
2. New this week, I have 2 resale accounts that are down, it has been more that 24hrs and not responce, and I dont know how to get them up and running.
3. there are 140 domains running on the server where my site is, he is overselling that server. Image of server stats (http://www.mccortez.com/serverstats.JPG)

To me all this is odd happenings and I have never seen the server stable for a straight month. I would like a sticky made regarding Dave and his bad business dealings, there should be honest and respectful hosts posting on WTH. I know that I would not like to get this type of service again, further more the reputation of WTH hangs on hosts like these.

Hi Monkeyshack did IM me regarding my thread about klan-host today we talked about it and he told me buzhost.com is owned by Dave too i never knew about it.

It also appears all domains he has hosted with DAVE are not working for some reason.


I also can add that i have diskspace overhead on one of sub accounts with dave actual site is 60mb (unzipped backup with mysql) but it shows its 100mb i dont know whats up with that and open to any suggestions.

Monkey i hope everything works out for you and me between klan-host and buzzhost.com. Also im waiting for Daves reply. (Notice he offered refund in my thread, i never got anything on that from him, but i can care less now)

The quota prob is most likely he needs to run the /scripts/fixquota script to fix it.. I don't know that this is the issue. but it has happened to me and that did the trick..

Okihost you are right, i asked burst to fix it they said i need pass from dave... so.. i doubt that will ever happen.

...thats totally nuts, why did he put so many harddrives on one server? So it can crash every few minutes :eek:
Is he the kind of people that are planning to have 1000 domains hosted on 1 server with more than a couple of harddrives :crazy:

Just to clear my self up from ym old thread, many people thought i was the bad guy. I think everyone knows that Dave lied and here something i just found out by looking at old thread again:


DaVeKH is daves old username for klan-host and look below there username BuzHost saying this "This Is Getting a Little Stupid, Turning into another I hate kids post." Its funny because its DAVE himself under another name! He got banned (another account too), there i hope everyone understands who is bad guy here. Thank you for your time :wavey:

There's only two hard disks visible in those stats.

One of the is full (well a partition on it is) which is bad, though it's the backup one so it shouldn't take the server down (though backups probably aren't happening)...

There seems to be plenty of RAM and CPU left, so it seems to me that the backup disk isn't big enough (or hasn't been cleaned up properly).

The two domains that are down seem to not be known by the namesevers ns[12].klan-host.com that the registrar thinks serves for them. Something is misconfigured there. As for the original complaint/request since I know nothing about the situation I'm staying out of that one :)

DaVe: I have already answered this problem for you and like I said you have ran to many auto-install scripts.

DaVe: You Dont Have Two Reseller Accounts - You Have One Account. If the one domain is working then its a problem with the way you have setup the accounts, an email to support and we could have helped you out.
DaVe: The Reason why the /backup hard disk is full is because its only 20gb and WHM takes a monthly, daily and weekly backup so there is effectively three times as many accounts on it as on the main disk.
DaVe: To me all this is odd happenings and I have never seen the server stable for a straight month. I dont think thats quite true, otherwise Im sure you would have cancelled after the first month.
DaVe: Also I think you will find you have two WBHT accounts yourself and so does: ENSupport

FYI, Dave never did give me a reason why for any of these things and have have sent an email to support asking about why my 2 accounts are down(which they still are). I thank him for clearifying about his server stats and about that I dont have two resale accounts that are down but they are accounts under my resale account, problem is they are still down and they did work when I set them up.

I would like to add that I do not, do not have 2 names here on the forums, I would like to see proof of that if there is.

I have all my chat logs and emails if people would like to see them, they all show that what I have said are truthful. I am not trying to hate on Dave, I am just trying to give people a heads up, I gave his hosting a shot and thought things would get better, but they have not.
Sorry Dave, you really need to work on customer service skills, and please respond to my support email that I sent to you a few days ago.

Heh dave i loved how you called me a dumb ass kid with other account and was acting "professional" with davekh or w/e account. GOOD JOB!

Dave has an Athlon 1800 at Burst - It should be able to handle the load perfectly - About the stability - I'm guessing that he doesn't monitor the server for abusive clients or runaway processes. These can end up crippling a server even with only 12 clients on it (I've experienced that before, but won't mention the name of the host as it was a while ago).

FYI, things are now being sorted out, I would like to say that buzhost.com is on differnt servers then klan-host.com and that even though they are owned by the same person I do not know how buzhost.com is or how the service is for buzhost.com.
