I was paying roughly $45/month for 1.5 Mbps download and 192 kbps upload. pokerstore 06-17-2003, 02:27 PM if you're running a business from home, Bell Sympatico ULTRA DSL is the only way to go. It's like a T1 connection. from bandwidthplace.com Your raw speed was 2114402.73 bits per second which is the same as: Communications 2.1 megabits per second Storage 258.1 kilobytes per second 1MB file download 4 seconds Rating Compared to all connection types worldwide, yours is fantastic ************************************** I think it's almost $80.00 a month, but it has been 100% reliable, consistant and amazingly fast. About 10x+ faster than my Rogers Cable connection ever used to be at it's peak. Zutroy 06-18-2003, 02:56 PM Unlimited data transfer is almost non-existant anymore. I believe on Rogers offers that (for now anyway). blue27 06-18-2003, 04:44 PM Even if they offer it they will cap your speed at a certain level. Reality is no different for ISPs. There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth, period. Trimax 06-19-2003, 11:36 AM I am really tempted to try Cogent Canada. $1000 CAD a mth for a 100mbps connection. AKavanaugh 06-19-2003, 12:09 PM Would that be the ISP class 100mbps that they sell or the residential? Trimax 06-19-2003, 12:25 PM The one that you can use but not reselling the bandwidth. |
