Hello everyone :)

I need a webhost for a Message Board (based on www.woltlab.de).
My board has actually 40 users (growing quite fast) and about 20 topics per day and quite a lot of replies. Currently it's hosted with the free service from ww.f2s.com but it's very slow :(

So, what i need is a host with PHP4/MySQL wich allows BBS (Bulletin Board Systems). It should be fast to Europe and of course it should have a fast Database!
I would need about 20-30 MB harddisk and as much traffic as possible.

Well, and it shouden't coast more then 10-15 USD!

Thx!
Greg

Ps.: I was thinking about Terabyte, what do you?

I think someone else was just moving their forum from Terabyte because they went over the bandwidth... So I don't know if you'd want to go with them or not.

If you post a message in the Advertising/Offers forum I'm sure you'll get a better response. ;)

It seems like you're targetting webmasters, so you might also be able to get a discount from a web host if you put their banner/link on your page. MS would certaintly consider it... :)

Good luck with your site and hopefully some more people here will be able to direct you to a host that meets your requirements.

I have some buddies that host at HostRocket and they are quite happy with them. They are within your budget. I host at forsite.com and I'm extremely happy with them. It's a little more than your budget for the silver plan (which I use) 19.95 USD.

I don't think that the bandwith may be the problem at Terabyte, because they give 20 GB! I would just like to know if the database speed is ok...

Well, if you think in the offers forum i'll get more reponses, so please move my post there ;)

Thank you!
